2018 Peace of Mind Lecture Series
Please join us on Wednesday, March 21st at 6:30 PM for our Peace of Mind Lecture
Over the past three years, there has been a significant growth in high-quality scientific research on cannabinoids, compounds found in the cannabis plant, for the treatment of epilepsy including severe rigorous clinical trials. In this lecture, we will review what we now know about how cannabinoids work to control seizures, the results of recent clinical studies of specific cannabinoids, and what is yet unknown. We will cover potential safety issues and drug interactions. Finally, we will touch upon potential uses of cannabinoids beyond the treatment of seizures.
